I got a couple of ideas for maps etc for this mod.

1. If there's airplanes in the mod, we can use the new type that Norway bought, the F-35.

2. Battles at the Norwegian borders, against Russia (as previously mentioned), and maybe at the Finnish and Swedish borders.

3. The plot of the game may be that all the Northern countries began arguing about a newly discovered Island or something like that.

4. Mountain and fjord battles. Maybe some urban in some of the northern big cities, like Kautikeino and Bodø (Bodo). Sea battles outside of Norway, at the ocean north of Norway.

5. Some of the characters, such as medic, can be a women, for a change.

6. A vehicle can be Skiies, or kicksled, as seen in the Norwegian Resistance mod for bf 1942.

That's all my ideas, hope you like them

We have chosen it, not bought it yet, and we won't recieve it for many years still. So we're going to use the f-16!

Yeah, we would all love to see that, but it has to be made first, the plot and backgroundstory of the maps comes later.

We'll need a new model, so I guess we stick with the male ones!

Or oil, or as I've previously proposed, norwegian special forces infiltrating Russia on orders from NATO or something

Kautokeino big city? Hammerfest or Kirkenes would be more likely places in Finnmark, with oil and GSV. But Bodø would be a likely target too, as it is the biggest airbase (not sure) in Norway

I don't believe it's possible for one class to have a unique voice. Even if it was, it would be twice as much work doing the voices, and for little gain.

F-16 FTW all the other nations in PR only use what they have now in RL and the F-35 may never come in production.

Begin making finnish and swedish nations and we can see if its implemented

Sea battles isnt what PR is after. And there is a mod for sea battles already called battleships

Then it has to be made from scratch if you can do it or find someone willing to make a woman figure I believe it can be done.

Would have been nice, but then you would need snow and to make snow you have to make new models to give it the snow feeling and effects when bullets hit the snow you would need new trees need to implement the material snow coding wise and you need to make good textures etc. if your not thinking about rollerskis though

Its all great ideas, but someone must do the extra work. And right now the norwegian modders have to think about A-stan and getting things liek sounds, models and textures so it will be some quality of what we have in a-stan.

Then why stop at islands? Lets have an alien invasion scenario. Aliens have come to Earth solely for the reason to take Norwegian lands, the Swedes side with the aliens as a result, and the war is on...

But srsly. PR is not "plot heavy", but there are certain limits. An undiscovered island won't suddenly emerge from the depths in the middle of Scandinavia in the foreseeable future. The sea level is constantly rising.

Well fonveh there has been produced islands near scandinavia there is one that rised up only 50-20 years ago I dont remember it name or when it was but it was in modern times near Iceland.

But the reason is idiotic, we could rather fight about a UFO then.

We HAVE to make something like QCB inside the Statoil H.Q in Stavanger.

And as we in Norway depends so much on ferries, maybe we could mix up something like an hostage drama inside an boat;
A group of terrorists infiltrate the harbour of "?", they get on board the boat and start shooting and stuff, taking hostages etc. A norwegian rescue team (thinking special forces) would come from the air (With our beutifull Bell 412's and grappeling (or just land on the fucking boat) down to the ferry. They are to quietly sneak up to the terrorists and neutralise them.

dartheven, Stavanger FTW. About the island idea a good easy story: Found oil on a island and everybody is interested in that oil. simple.
Now I'm trying to learn to make a PR map wich takes forever, but if I will be abel to make one. Then I'll make a map based on Stavanger: reason, its not just flat area, the entire town is downhill with small streets wich make it hard for the armor and air, and some really nice firefights from inf.

Seriously then. People is talking about getting CQB and such in cities etc. But you have to think is that for the first you need new models no one really fits Norway. Should we have Afghanistan huts and Chinese temples in Stavanger? The map must be doable before it can be done. Get yourself a modeler and texure guy and then we talk.
