Enemy Landmines

Post by badmojo420 »

So last night we were playing Jalal Al Burg and a US squad was dropped off in Jalal with a crate, they must have been all engineers because when we went up to where they were dropped, there was over 10 landmines setup all over the road. So being the only engineer in the squad i got to work digging them all up.

So i have 2 suggestions for this....

1. When i picked up the landmines i still only have 1 myself. Is there any way to keep the landmines your pick up? Or is this simulating disabling the mines. It would have been nice to take those 10 mines and quickly throw them down when we got to east beach.

2. I didn't notice my team points going up much for disabling all those mines, do we get any points? Can we get some more points for disabling a major threat to our teams vehicles.

About 1.: Everytime you disable a mine, you get that as ammo. BUT theres a maximum of 1 mine that you can carry around with you at any time.

I bet mines weigh a ton. I doubt you'd be able to carry more than 1 or 2 + combat gear...

I guess there is no way to let us pick up more then 1 mine, without people just going to the ammo crates and maxing out on mines. The weight shouldn't be an issue, 9 kilos is light, i could carry at least 4 of those easily.

"Enemy wheelbarrow spotted, haha!"

Yeah, seriously, I'd like to see you dragging 36 kilos worth just of mines + full combat gear...

LMAO! That was my squad. I told everyone to grab Engi kits and we're supposed to rush Jabal. But due to all kinds of FUBARS, including drunk Huey pilot (new years), stupid huey pilots, uncooperative friendly squads, we got there about 10mins late. :(

Only managed to mine and kill 1 loaded command truck before was ambushed by presummably your squad. Someone headshotted me, and I was squad leader, so our rally was gone and we were wiped out.

It would've worked, if my team had more teamwork. :p

LOL yea that was our squad in the Command Truck. And then again ambushing you guys. I saw you get head shotted, wasn't sure if it was from my gun or not. It was a good strategy, if we didn't spot the mines you would have also killed a couple vodniks and who knows what else. And the only reason we spotted them was because we died from one. In fact i heard the chopper after we died and thought maybe someone shot us with AT from the chopper, a mine was the last thing i expected that early in the round. I was impressed by the number of mines in such a short amount of time, good teamwork. (at least in your squad)

That's a damn good idea...drop in Jabal, have the pilot drop a crate, fly back to the carrier to re-arm and move the engineers to the other road out of the MEC main with another crate so they can mine it too.

[R-MOD]Jigsaw] I am drunk. I decided to come home early because I can''t realy seea nyithng. I hthknk i madea bad choicce. :|
