Source Engine

Post by VRV »

The Source Engine is the best engine for that style of game FPS, played PR, and now i'm playing Insurgency, this engine is perfect.

PR engine with Source please!

BF2 engine is a bit of a jack of all trades, master of none, take any individual aspect and you'll most likely find it done better elsewhere, but what you wont usually find is all the elements combined on this scale with this many players.

I am not talking about which is worse, which is more or anything. I am only saying that the Source engine is very good.

In the Source Engine can do so squads, voip by squad, commands, etc. Of course, we must work hard at it.

As in their own engine? That's a massive undertaking that requires a lot of skill. It's one thing to make python scripts and modify text files and another to design and code software.

It's basically the equivalent of telling somebody who likes to modify their car to build and design a completely original car to include the engine.

It's impossible to create greatness in the Source engine?

The mod was put on hiatus on March 29, 2007. I just read the lead developer's thread on it on the forums.
