It will get put there soon enough. Right now is just the first phase of the MOTY voting, to narrow it down to the Top 100, then after that there will be a second phase. You'll see more activity from the Dev team when the second phase starts.

Portal can not win because its a full game (not even a indie game so it can't win in thous categories either). It would be like having L4D up there...

There are however mods FOR portal which is what you saw in the video which could win if they got enough votes.

that is simply because HL2 has soooo many mods and Crisis, well Crisis only has 6 released mods out of 101 and ye, we will see if they will get anywhere thou doubt it.
