well, what's so difficult about it? its not that hard to follow, nor does it HAVE to be revised. All you have to do is just to NOT go in the enemy's main, how hard is that?

Sounds like you were destroying traffic that had not long left their main flag, the airport is miles away but the actual flag would have been 200m or so I guess.

I can see you getting banned for that but I'd say its fair game outside of the main base capture radius whatever that is

MEC do have this vulnerability, its less pronounced for usmc

well, sabre, you are right, the distance is about 200 m from MEC OPS, but the rule is dont shoot in, dont get in the main, or dont shoot in the direction of the main.those 200 m plus the distance from MEC OPS to main gives us about 350 -400 m or more from targets position to the enemy main....and is a lot to be banned for ...baserape( the distance from my position to enemy main was a bit longer).that situation was an ambush, flank attack, whatever...no way to be a base rape. maybe an admin was in that second AA i'd engaged and that was the only way to escape :) :) :) :) :)
if it's posible, i really want that admin to answer me at this situation, maybe to give me a good explanation from his point of view

Bottom line is... its a game.. communities own their own servers and run them as they think is best.

Spawn killing is fecking ****, having a no main base rape rules gives a safe location for people to spawn.. simple as that. You always need one safe spawn.. and the only way is to have a no main base attack rule.

TBH if all the maps had safe locations for people to spawn in their mains that were not overlooked there would be no need for this rule, however on 99% of the maps this s not the case.

And making a post about how people should run their own servers is errr somewhat arrogant. Why dont you rent a server, keep it populated and have whatever rules you want. Not easy.. the populated serves are popular due to how they are run.

At the end of the day, there's plenty of PR servers, and therefore plenty of variety. Some allow incessant base rape, some don't. As players, you choose the server which suits you.

I can't see the Devs ever imposing a rule regarding base rape, as it would risk alienating server owners, who after all provide the community with somewhere to play.

This discussion has been done to death so many times.

Nor is it realistic that a battlefield has 64 soldiers at most on it at one time, and when these people die they can respawn at their base or at a pile of rucksacks. The rule is there for gameplay's sake, usually. But I find the best way to deal with baserapists is to just go rambo with your weapon on full auto. Worked for me on fool's road as the Brits, took out 5 guys singlehandedly and got 2 knife kills before the rebels capped the villiage.
