My suggestion is, create a squad called something along the lines of : RECON, S&S RECON (sniping and spotting recon), or something to that extent. Your team will give you more credibility in the otherwise ruthless world of pr sniping (I am of course referring to many people who hate snipers because they aren't "teamplayers").
Wait for someone to hop in and then lock it. Preferably you'd be with someone you are familiar with, so you'll be more comfortable with each other anyways.
Now, decide who will spot and who will snipe. I suggest that the spotter play as SL, as they can designate targets for you and the commander (if there is any), as well as use the SOFLAM for an area attack.
Now, you only need two people to request special kits such as the "sniper" and the "special Operations", so request those. The spotter should grab a Spec Ops kit, because in the current pr build it doesn't have much else to do and has a grapple hook as well as the SOFLAM and a good CQB main gun/suppressed pistol if you ever get into that unfortunate situation.
There are many threads on how to function as a sniper squad, so I'll leave those for you to find if you ever want to. To recap the process however, I'll use a list for your viewing pleasure.
- Create a squad with a name indicating your role.
- Wait for a player to hop in it and then lock it.
- Figure out who'll SL and Spot, and who'll snipe.
- Request your kits and position yourself in an advantageous position.
- Happy sniping
