That was a damn good map aswellI actually miss that last version of Zatar Wetlands. It was good to have the LAVs try to survive against the tanks. I might actually try to update that one sometime....

I think you'll find ALOT of people disagree. Yes it doesnt have many new statics, and its unrealistic in some ways ( most maps are ) , but it has great gameplay and the balance is perfect. It would be great to see it updated, and possibly the size increased.Sgt.Smeg wrote:Bah, I was hoping Jabal would be removed. No offence to the guy who made it, I just think PR can do a whole lot better. It's unrealistic, ugly and has none of the pretty new statics.

I do agree with you spacemanc, jabal is agreat map, actually one of my favorites, personally I dislikes op barracuda, maybe it needs some reworkspacemanc wrote:I think you'll find ALOT of people disagree. I find Zatar is actually quite fun in both games, despite the suicide jeeps and 1-man commando squads in BF2. People in BF2 just don't like any map that involves thought in its play or that has open spaces that nullify solo infantry.Ghost1800 wrote:Ya, I find it funny that in regular BF2 Zatar is viewed as a horrific abomination and waste of time, yet in PR it was actually a nice map for a lot of different types of vehicles for it's size. I'm not sure how it would hold up in .8, but it was great in .75.

Meh, Op Baracuda's pretty awesome, if anything maybe a slight change in assets on the Chinese side to make it harder to set up at the start and to make those 50 cals more valuable.jbgeezer wrote:I do agree with you spacemanc, jabal is agreat map, actually one of my favorites, personally I dislikes op barracuda, maybe it needs some rework![]()
Though I haven't played Jabal enough yet to get a profound opinion of it.

Re: Next patch and MAP's
In my opinion maps should never be removed, maybe released as map packs to lower the size but there is always someone who likes and dislikes each map and one persons opinion shouldn´t be enough to remove it.
I use to love street with a reasonable amount of players in 0.6, I wouldn´t like it now because of a few changes though.
Zatar and Oman were also good maps when played right, after playing a bit in PRSP I can see how I miss them.
