I'm looking at it and can't help but think... "why is the EA community being told it has to pay $10 for something that should of been in the first release of BF2?"?!? This booster actually looks pretty cool, it brings in the A-10 it brings battles on US soil which is a nice concept. the maps look really cool and fun. then of course with teh edition of co-op with the 1.3 patch all lead to something that looks pretty cool. but... seriously, why wasn't co-op in the first release of BF2? i just dont get it, i mean it was in BFV when it first came out, and since they had all those single player maps, you know that it was possible. oh EA you never seem to amaze me.

I really like the idea of the MEC infiltrating the US. That would make for some pretty cool settings.

I think the idea is really preposterous but than again it fits in Battlefield 2. As long as we don't see any of this craziness in PR.

I think its gonna be alright. It brings a different dimensions to BF2. I like the idea that the battlefield isnt limited to somewhere overseas. I agree all of this stuff should have been in BF2 when it was released though, kinda ridiculous to throw 20 more dollars for 2 booster packs when you already paid 50 bucks for the game. But I'm not surprised, EA is milking the franchise for all its worth, and I dont blame them really. I gotta give em credit for their good business sense.

Can you even download a game like that of limewire i thought there was the whole ea downloader thing. Plus it wouldn't be the game just the game files.

i bought special forces.... played it like 10 times, played PR once, and didnt stop playing PR once i started! all the booster packs are a waste of money to me, even if the PR servers are dead i just play on single player.... thats how useless vanilla is to me. and with co-op possibly fitting into PR i reallllly wont care about dead servers.

Given how dissapointed i was by EF, i wont buy it.

EDIT:
Limewire WONT work. when EF loads, it checks if you username (BF2 name) is registered as having EF. If not, it wont work.

This does mean you can play EF on any PC though.

I expect AF will work in the same way :( .

i shoudl have never got Sf, i was spushed into buying it by a friend, he loves fast gamplay, and just likes heli killing. Constanyl and does nto like slow gameplay, i respect his opinoin but i also try again and again to convert him, failiing every time. The only way to attract players like him is to add features to PR that anyone would love, cool weapons, ext.
He once said he played PR, doing rambo killin but when he tryed to join a Squad, every one left after not long and made another, this continued. They have seen what an excellent team player he was and thought it better to give him his own special squad.
o, well there are many more fish in the sea.

BTW co-op was in the first release of BF2, ALl you have to do is start a single player game and then have the person type in your IP address.
