BUT, youre buildings are absolutely pitch black, which is not realistic at all. The light from the moon, like you have now on basrah, is enough to light both the ground and the buildings around it. Its obviously toned down and not like during the day, but its not pitch black either...
Pitch black works on something like Bi Ming with no moon.
The sky you have now means you need more lighting on the buildings. Maybe find a nice midway point between the buildings and the ground you have now...
And im def not a fan of the lightening. It wont have matching sound ingame[server] and its just looking way too... "across the entire sky". not even across the sky but THE ENTIRE SKY itself turns white... I just dont like it :\

one idea for you guys :
put lightglows into some of the windows of the buildings ( from vbf2 , which are not enterable) . ive seen this on other maps and it usually looks great.

Hey while I was searching around Moddb.com i saw Sir Community's Battleracer mod. One of their pictures shows the cars with spotlights and dynamic lighting.

You should check out their mod for the codes of their lighting to use for Al Basrah Night. Anyways good luck on the map hope it turns out nice.

I like the lighting of the clouds, the moon does do that.
I wasnt a massive fan of bi ming night and almost preferred just using no nvg so this would be interesting to see but I'd vote for more lights on(in?) buildings in general with the prospect of some very dark alleyways

If it produces it the moon, and regarding that the map is very dark I comment you that the next revision will be but clear but the nvg will be important to see in the fog and in very closed places without light.
