I can see your point krisfx, when ever i join a server hosted by others and free to the public, what i tend to do is join a squad and when i find that they are disorganised i get pissy throw my toys about and then write some feedback like, "I think your server is dreadful". Classic.

TBH what i tend to do is.. start my own squad and run it as it should be.

I have a slightly different slant on it form Epoch & Gunny, (both admins with myself on T&T, personally i'd save you the trouble in the future, just in case you accidentally join our server again by adding you to the list of people that don't want to play, the ban list. After all there are 5 or 6 servers normally populated. I'm sure they are much better for you than ours.

Making your own squad with 15 people on the team. So thats a one man squad, which again isnt very "realistic" is it.

Also how is " your server is dreadful" being pissy. Im expressing my opinion. Or are you a communist too. This is the second or third time its happened.

I was the admin who replied to you when you asked why your squad were halfway off the map.

How the hell are we responsible for individual players?

I find your post both annoying and childish. The admins are there to play aswell as do their duties, but we are not in the habit of policing every single person.

WE encourage teamwork on our server, and we try to police that as best as we can.

So take a breather, count to 10 and come and have a chat on our forums instead of chucking your dummy out your pram fella. It was your first time on our server (i believe) and you lasted 20 minutes. If you wasn't happy with your squad, then start another one or kick them out.
mm.

Well tbh I didnt think it was that childish, I couldnt get the response from my squad which tbh was rather annoying.

Whatever I may come back on some time in the future, but from my point of when I joined there seemed to be a lack of teamwork, I think onkly one squad were playing as it should be in all honesty.

Your squad is YOUR responsibility, not us admins. It has nothing to do with the server. Did you want us to kick your squad? Because believe me, if that had happened we would of been inundated with complaints left, right and centre.

As for being a communist, if you do not like our server, then by all means go elsewhere. We've more compliments than complaints, and i'll tell you the same thing i tell everyone who has a complaint about the "server" - go buy your own if you're not happy.

We can't please everyone ALL the time.

You're welcome to come back, just stick around a while longer next time. Joining mid-game can be frustrating for anyone on any server when squads are full, we've all been there :-)

I echo what Epoch has said in regards to Teamspeak and our forums, however if you don't feel that friendly, just try and jump in a squad at the beginning of a round - people who start those squads certainly want to lead them and have fun.

T&T, would you consider to have an exception to your no locked squad rule for spec-ops and sniper squads? It's really annoying to having to tell people to join a "real" squad since there really is little to no use for a third member on those kind of squads. Even moreso for a fourth or fifth.

Hi

Our server rules already allow for a squad to be locked, but only with the consent of an admin, and only if there's good reason for it.

Please understand that there are a number of reasons we discourage locked squads. Our server kicks players who aren't in squads. There's a maximum of 9 squads per team. If some of them are locked, and the server is full (like most nights) then players will be auto-kicked. That isn't fair is it?

If there's a legitimate need to have a squad locked (for example if a member gets disconnected) then that's fine. Or, if the purpose of the squad specifically would benefit from fewer members, then an admin might approve it. But, on the whole, we prefer squads unlocked.

Rule of thumb - expect to be asked to keep your squad unlocked.

Thanks for your understanding.

did you know communism is based on the ideals all are equal.

But so far most communist governments turned into dictatorships based on communist ideals.

So if we were truely "communist" technicaly its a good thing as all are equal.

Just thought id mention that

Also to all this is a feedback fourm not a whining place.
If you have problem please give some feedback on how to improve it.

Can we just drop this and get back to what we do best please: providing a great server for all to enjoy.

No more posts from [T&T] please in relation to the above.

Regarding Toristos: He has now been permbanned under Section 6 of the forum rules. He failed to back up his serious allegations with any form of evidence, so as far as the Moderation team were concerned, he set out to deliberately mislead others in order to discredit T&T if they tried to report him for his smacktard antics on their server.

End of matter.

I wish to lighten the mood and include a couple of gameplay videos from T'server

Bear in mind folks these videos are PUBLIC GAMEPLAY on T&T, not staged, What you see is what you get.

Both vids made by community members [T&T]Heskey and [T&T]Element666

Would greatly appreciate it if someone can embed these vids for a spoon who can't remember how

I was banned around 2007 from this server because I was testing out the weapons on a new version. Any chance of removing this ban?

Someone was in a bad mood then I guess, since all I remember I was doing was just shoot around to get the feel to the weapons and test them out.
