Better yet, give us the WINDOW WASHER kit!

But seriously I second the notion to make window dirtier, for the sake of realism (especially in desert maps).

Window effects on bf2 however rely on the graphics settings, graphics on low = no real window effect

Nonono, some poor lowly private simply annoyed the motorpool's senior officer and was given a 'little task' :D

Unfortunately the Polish do not exist as a faction yet. :p . (Do not wish to offend, just there's a lot of Polish car-washers in London.)

Would be good for realism, but shouldn't be overdone, however I think it would require a new tex-map, when I did some re-texturing work the windscreen didn't exist in there.

close to being unfunny

but anyway, I remember there was a thread a while back about breaking windscreens, som1 had made it work quite well, so putting an unchanging bit of dirt on the windscreen, especially the bits not affected by windscreen wipers surely can be done?

Yuh I mean for example there are window wipers on humvees for instance but obv. they dont cover the entire screen... Perhaps have a semi-circle of dirt around the bit that the washer cant quite reach.

"I love the smell of napalm in the morning. You know, one time we had a hill bombed, for 12 hours. When it was all over, I walked up. We didn't find one of 'em, not one stinkin' dink body. The smell, you know that gasoline smell, the whole hill. Smelled like... victory. Someday this war's gonna end... "

Hopefully we'll get tire slasher kits before we get window washer/dirt applier kits, maybe we can use the shovel to make the windows dirty? xD

Ummm, how about no to this suggestion. I don't like the dirt on the aimpoint, I won't like the dirt on my humvee.

1st person model, dirty windows are really bad, even if you use transparent dirt it sucks. Had it on the WIP Lynx and it was soo crappy had to get pride to fix it :p

3rd person models thou do have quite a lot of dirt on the windows if you look :)

^ must just be my graphics then.

The mods can lock if they like now, since we've had DEV input on why this doesn't work as wanted
