Weapon Pull-out Time & Sidearms

Post by Blackbird-911 »

Why does it take so long to pull your weapon to your face and look through the scope? I find this to be highly unrealistic. If you were being shot at IRL, would it really take you three seconds to pull the gun to your face? No. It's really at an inconvenience. Also, why don't the kits include a pistol? Out of all the things in PR, that's the most unrealistc thing I've seen in the game. You need a sidearm.

I find the pull back time pretty realistic. They seem pretty much on time, maybe a second slower but it seem still alright with me.

Because IRL not everyone is issued a sidearm, as part of their regular kit. Yes soldiers can get permission and buy there own but still, its not standard.

coming from a guy who has probably never had actual soldier combat gear on weighing in at about 50lbs. ADAPT AND OVERCOME, like a marine.

True. Hardly anyone would use them anyway.
The pull-out time might be a bit too long, but everyone gets used to it, sooner or later...
