Hello Garack.
The only class that has a parachute at the moment is the Special Forces class. *EDIT: See below...*

About the server, teamkilling bans are usually not permanent because people might teamkill by accident. If I were you I'd try again today or tomorrow to see if the ban has been lifted. If there is any website/forum attached to the server, you could try asking there how long such bans last (and maybe if you explain respectfully you could ask to have your ban lifted, but be careful not to 'demand' things ;) ).

I hope I have helped you a bit.

er.... the parachute should never open automatically... you have to manually use the "9" key to open it. It's only on the SF class in PR.

In the future we'll look into changing them... I'd love to see all classes get them, but make them single use. Not that often you see a soldier jump off a 3 story building with a parachute ;)

Usually, when jumping off a three story building, people die.

or break lots of bones....

Or they get up and yell 'WOOOOOOOOO EXTREME BASEJUMPING WOOOOO!'
Then they collapse and bleed out, because their extreme like that!

I must say i won't miss parachute in 0.3...
In 0.25 it was a problem for me... as sniper, i've often been setting claymore at the end of ladder... and when fight went into other place or i run out of ammo i had problem... hmm.. i can't go down by ladder becouse of claymore... and jumping down? huh....
Now.. no claymore no problem... but is it truth? WHO WILL WATCH MY BACK NOW?!

I knifed three snipers on the hotel on Oman the other day. They thought they were cool, had about 4 claymores on the ladder. After receiving a few complaints from the neighbours, I decided to check it out. I hopped into my Blackhawk and set off on my way. At about 300 feet, just a few meters south of their position I grabbed my 'chute and hopped out. I began my descent and pulled the tag about 20 metres from their position and glided safely behind them. I saw what the fuss was about, three proned MEC dudes proned with SVDs. I proceeded to grab my trusty knife and the rest, as they say, was history. I 'chuted back to ground level and took the hotel. :)

The moral of this story is: no matter how many claymores you have, no matter how many spotters you have, the only thing that can protect you from Malik is a roof. :)
