Any way to go over a new engine? sometimes-...

Post by Garack »

HI, i am not new to the PR Comm-but after one year i come back playing PR, cause no other gameplay is like this.

OK i use vista32 SP1. BF2 dont support vista-so various crashes i must live with.

I use an actually soundcard. XFI Gamer...And the Waterfall Bug is still there on one map-BF2 never heard of XFI :)

My GFX 4870 1 GB dont support vsync in driver forced mode in BF2 now..With 8800GTX i got Vsynv.

BF2 was great in 2005 and PR gameplay is great in 2009 but this Gameplay and This developers with a new engine will be rocking.

Eye candy is not all---but Physiks like in 2008/09 games with destructable environment and real gun behavior and material destruction will be great

I know you have real lives and not the time to discover a new engine--but hope is all_:=

Thanks for understanding.

Currently there are no plans to move PR to a new engine. If for no other reason than that all current PR players own a copy of BF2 and it wouldn't be very nice to make them buy a game they may not otherwise purchase just to play this mod.
The key to modernising any weapon is covering them in glue and tossing them in a barrel of M1913 rails until they look "Modern" enough.

If it would be a real improvement over the current engine I would buy a new game just to play this mod. But probably not everybody will and losing dedicated players prolly is not worth it.
