Alarm sound at the beginning?

Post by BreepZz »

I think the alarm sound would be more realistic at the beginning of a game. As soon as the players are on the map an alarm sound will be great as alert (20 sec 30sec or more), the battle begins, go go go!! (Thus two alarms: one at the beginnnig and one at the end) Because at the end that's "useful" but that has no sence too!

Easy to do I think.

Cheers.

Why would that make sense? For the defenders maybe, but the attackers? Nah.

Because this alarm sound is for bombardment, thus both are no sence in fact... But at the beginning that's better for realism, that motivate the soldiers and the beginnig is an intense "warning", the battle begins after the alert sound.

Project reality is to simulate a bigger war. Most maps is so that you gets in a battle that has been going on for a while. It would be completely unrealistic to have a sound at the start that is for CS and such games ;)

The sound at the end is when its 10 tickets left to say that you have to be really carefull if you know the round has been really tight.

I found this sentence quite funny and since this is a war game forum I will put it here. No offense to the french just a good laugh.

I know why this alarm is there ;)
But this sound motivate me to run with a little "Go go go!"
I imagine well this sound at the beginning
"Warning we're on attack!!!! Everybody in the vehicles!" But yes that a detail not very important....

the Alarm sound is to tell you dont have many tickets left, that is all, no need to play it at the begging of the round...
