kit balance

to make balance more asymmetric could there be maps where one team gets kits taht the other team doesnt.

FOR EXAMPLE!!!

on EJOD maybe MEC could get one more sniper and spotter kit for their team, while US would get like one more SAW and grendaier, this would add a diffrent way to balance things besides vehicles.

and if people like that maybe(if possible) even randomize the kits teams could get like when the flags are random on barracuda, like a pre set layout that would be selected at random at the begging of each round, just so maps stop getting do repetitive it would change the way teams play on maps becasue they have or dont have certain kits

ummm i know that..im not asking for mirror balacne... im asking for the opposite...this inst really balance...its changing the game play...i think you misunderstood my post...RIGHT NOW there is balance...but its perfectly mirrored..like both teams get the same kits exactly, which i dont really like too much, its actually adding to the realism

I like the idea

but realism must be maintained

It would be hard to implement on conventional maps

I'm not sure how to do it
PR is not a mod about balance
this is not quite true, each team on every map theoretically has a equal chance of winning...thats an aim of the gameplay

If this was done it would be best done with the taliban imo, more LATs for them, whereas more Grenadiers for US?

Agree, but the kit balance is pretty asymetric on ins mode already, and as it is now the extra LATs/RPGs are on the caches for the ins team anyway, I also think the fact that the coaltion forces' kits are better, justifies the need for more avaible e.g. grenadiers kits.

i really dont think a different kit loadout for each side on a map would make a huge difference. having one more sniper on your team than the other isnt gonna make a huge difference. having one more auto riflemen wont make much difference. however, what might work is to have one side have more of a certain type of vehicle, and the other side have more kits to counter that vehicle. for example, you could have one team with a large amount of tanks and apcs, and the other team would be allowed more than the standard amount of AT kits. or a map with one team having lots of choppers, and the other team having no choppers but lots of AA kits. then i think this would make a difference.
