Why is aiming so bad ? its engine related?

Hi, when i aim at an enemy wich is standing 20 metres away from me and i aim at the chest most time i miss.

Sometimes hes like 10 metres away and i aim at him and the chest is in the red triangle but i miss him. Hes not moving and i am not moving.

sometimes i try to wait for 1 sec bevore i shot, like a sniper must do to hit, but this dont works.

sometimes i hit sometime i miss, its like random---

I heard the deviation thing is being worked on, but i can honoustly say that in short distance i have no trouble hitting things, no more then the next guy anyways.

Could also be your ping ofcourse.
If you can read this the ***** fell off.

Yes my enemy has the same problem in most firefights, he shoot at me and i think...ok i am dead but...he miss lol and i miss...two soldiers with M4 20-30 metres away shooting and missing..

i see this in most firefights, not only when i am involved...when it comes to ranges 60+ then ok...deviation, aiming, wind..whatever but in closer combats...hmm..

btw--ping is ok, 60 frames vsync on 22".

the answer is pr .85 this friday.
so download hitfixer 2.0, clean your rifle and prepare for deployment.

Yes it's odd, but did you see that video of the Israeli guys getting ambushed. That was pretty close range combat, and the Hamas who had the drop on them apparently missed. I'm not shure if they practice combat drills wich will help probably to keep the nerves down.
So one could argue that the CQ deviation is to simulate the fear when being confronted with an enemy at close range.
If you can read this the ***** fell off.

Hitfixer? I think this is not better then the devs from PR has modded PR like it is today.

But will aiming(and hitting :) ) be better in 0.85 ?

what engine related? unfortunately not
this is a bug caused by a flawed mentality from PR dev team
and it's a bug many in the community hope to solve

the aiming bug is caused by the dev team ruining the accuracy in the hopes of forcing you to take longer distance shots on single fire for any accuracy to emulate real life

unfortunately this causes you to fire like a cross eyed old man who gets spasms every time he moves this makes close quarter and medium range combat difficult but there are some techniques we pr players use to get accuracy

room clearing swat style is impossible so try
try bunny hopping or prone diveing or both and spray to get an accurate shot while in a 10 foot room

for longer shots try getting the marksman rifle and waiting on single fire for accuracy notice the marksman is very accurate while your standard weapon is a gamble every time you fire

hopefully the bug will be fixed in .85 https://www.realitymod.com/forum/f196-p ... build.html but I don't know you'll need to decode all the xXXXes. apparently the dev team wished for more difficulty in your life even outside the game.

good luck remember you'll need to either wait to 25 seconds frozen in prone or spray and pray since it's mostly random now

Uff, ok i use single fire in Close combat cause with auto or 3 shoot you hit very random but you hit sometimes..but even with singlefire its too random...the difficulty is not the problem, i like it, but random is very bad.

Seriously I understand quite good why the deviation is as it is right now. But I agree wait for 0.85 I hav enot looked back yet ;)

Because i had no problem hitting enemies from a block away on Muttrah with the M4 + Ironsights. :wink:

Oh no! I liked the new deviation system! Just firing at the guy for surpression and wait a second or 2/3 for an accurate shot! Now its just zoom in and click again...
