The ban you received was not the doing of an admin but rather punkbuster automatically giving you a round ban due to you "teamkilling" excessively.

With the release of Project Reality 0.85 only a mere 24 hours away I thought I should make a post assuring all fans of our servers that our servers will be updated to 0.85 tomorrow at approximatley 10am GMT. All new Insurgency maps will be added to the current rotation of our Insurgency 24/7 server and all new maps will be added to our all maps server. Since no information, as far as I am aware, has been released concerning what restrictions, if any, are being made to training servers I cannot guaranty that it will remain as it is now, however we will try our best to keep it just as it is.

If you have any queries please feel free to post them here and I will try to answer them to the best of my ability

Mate there isnt anything we can do unless you report them when they are actually on the server. There are several ways listed on our forums to contact a Battleforce admin, in future please use those instead of reporting abuse a while after the incident.

The individual in question hurled abuse at me earlier today however he disconnected from the server before I was able to ban him. If i see him playing on any of our servers I will ban him without hesitation.

Joined and encoutered 5 locked sqds. with between 1 and 3 ppl in them. The rest maxed out and the only 1 I could join had an sl that didnt spawn, seemed to be afk for a long time. Server had 9 sqds so it was not possible to make one.
Asked the admin if this was allowed. Did not get a reply although they reponded to "Admin present"
One guy on Ins side went "I just wasted a whole sqd" was meet by "Stop fucking bragging moron" by an admin or BF member, went on for quite some time.

Joined Al basrah today. Few players. Same use of language by the admins. An admin switched a player over to the ins side from british so he could play brit himself, after playing for quite some time, didnt just join and switch.

Went to their forum, didnt register, but was also unable to find ANY rules at all regarding their PR server.

Avoid if possible. Attitudes and general gameplay reminds me of a vanilla server.

Ok so, i joined BF insurgency server cus i felt like playing insurgency maps. I made a sniper squad with 2 guys, i spawn, get a sniper kit, and i get kicked for "high ping", and i think "wth, high ping with 150 ?" so i joined again. Surprise surprise, a 2 man squad of BF members with 2 sniper kits. So, you kick players from your public servers cus they have the kits you want ? Pathetic. I think PR community would be better off without this kind of admins.

Played this server (Insurgency) for the first time yesterday, all squads were either locked or full so me and two other guys were forced to go solo. Then I see a message that the two other guys got kicked for "reason: unknown". Was this because they weren't in a squad?

A spot then opened up in a squad with two people in it, I joined but got kicked from the squad...

We just started the 24/7 Ramiel server and are going to try and test it to get it populated.



True, at the moment we need more PR players in our clan.
We are trying to get more clanmembers to get on our training.

We ban/kick the offenders from our server. (Raping trainings with AA's etc, we've got a big banlist to be honest) Then they usually go to our forums and ask why we banned them. Usually immature people or not serious PR players. Especially the force-tkers are rather annoying.

Brute If you ban for raping training grounds please inform ALL your members of this. Played, or should I say tried to, on the training server. A BF member called something Hawk cant remember the first part, said after many ppl complained that the inf training ground was being raped by planes, choppers and Armour that it was allowed, and that blowing up the airfield was also allowed. How can this be considered training? And fair admins for that matter?

Mate you are basing your opinnion of our server on basically one round, how can that give you an accurate representation of a server that is up most nights for 10+ rounds? I admitt for the past couple of nights there has been a noticeable rise in the amount of locked squads however that simply depends on who is on that server that round/night and not on how the server is run. Last night I was asked by a few players on our server to free up a few squads and did so within a few minutes. When you inquired about the locked squad issue I honestly didnt see your question and I appologise for that however I was playing and you must know how easy it is to miss chat lines while engrossed in the game. In the furute I will take a much tougher stance on locked squads.

The reason i used abuse against the individual who "wasted a whole squad" was because he was bragging for a while about killing my squad however he had only killed us by bunny hopping and spraying with the AK-47u. Which, as you might imagine, was considerably annoying.

Last night, as the majority of Battleforce members were on the GB team on Al basrah, we switched a couple of members over to our team however we only switched them with people who were joining the server or had no score.

As i told you on the server yesterday mate you were not kicked by an admin therefore it must have been an automated Punkbuster kick. I managed to get a sniper kit at the start of the game and then SweetSugarHigh and I waited for the kit to re-enter the kit request system, we thought the individual with the kit had died. You may not believe us however those are the facts and im sorry you think so poorly of our administration team.

We dont have any Project Reality members with "Hawk" in their names mate? Anyway a full list of rules started being written last weekend and hopefully shall be posted in this thread/on our website this weekend/early next week.

with noob admin training with little bird on korengal

we just gathered around a humvee at camp muprhy ready to go, then suddenly a lilbird appeared with rambo in it shouting us to get in
ok lets get in...the destination is LANIYAL...its just a jump over the hillside from murphy to laniyal with little bird
i seriously doubt that boon knows where laniyal is on that map...so i give him the grid coordinates aswell....he stes off and starts hovering slowly around the whole map at low altitude of 50m...every single taliban starting to shoot at us and hurt us badly sitting on the siderails completely exposed to taliban fire....so we start shouting BAIL OUT but nothing happens....as we draw more attention rambo even reduces speed and altitude hovering above laniyal and not letting us out of the chopper...more taliban fire incoming....technical opens fire from the valley, my squad bleeding out....people LOLing and shouting from the ground: noob pilot and bad things towards rambo....but rambo doesnt even think of letting us out ...he doesnt even speed up when the technical puts a whole salve into us...instead of that he slowly moves back across the mountains and really slowly trying to land in the fields next to IED road in front of camp murphy....its only a jump from murphy to laniyal, so why had we to make this whole 5 minute tour from murphy to outpost around the north passes to laniyal and than back to murphy? all at low alt and really slow speeds....WTF? is that guy dumb or what?
in rage, bleeding from nme fire and really upset, one of my squad members decides to give that boon of pilot a faceshot after we landed....he gets banned for teamkill...and that makes me really mad, because a kick should have beeen enuff of punishment for a tk after going mental, the whole team went mental cause all of us could see that....even taliban loled...that boon of rambo should have been banned for wasting us and the valuable asset...banning someone after a situation like this one is simply misuse of admin privileges imo
the server was well populated, so why are u admins training with assets u dont know how to use / on maps u dont even know the locations names? u wasted ur teammates and u wasted the chopper only to see how much incoming rounds a fully loaded little bird can stand? and then u BAN people?

i dunno if i would rate this server bad, i play on their insurgency server quite a bit, and to be honest, i would just rate it mediocre, just normal.
the best way to get by is to not get involved with the admins.
now dont get me wrong, some admins of the server are quite good, and are good teamplayers and generally its fun to be in their squad.
its just some of the admins there are rather immature. i honestly don't know the names, quite frankly because i dont care enough, but i have had an admin and a squad member having a shouting match in voip about something. i have seen an admin kick (or threaten to kick ) for the apache.

now that is something that bugs me, i know its your clans server, and i know that some of your clanmembers put money in the server. but that doesnt make it right to kick a guy when he and i get in the apache (we had been waiting for three minutes after one of the admins crashed it). the best part was he first insulted the guy for two minutes, and then kicked him WHILE we were flying, obviously causing us to crash (i have the problem with flying gunning, since i need my mouse inverted for flying, but not for gunning, im gonna add a button on my mouse for that).
now not only is that highly immature, its also a bother to everyone on the team because you gotta wait another 20 min for a chopper.

so in the end, when good admins (i just assume the older players) are around, its a fun server to play (apart from all the locked 2-3 man squads, that pisses me off to, but its not really the admins fault) and i enjoy going there often. Its just a bummer to have to deal with a angry and somewhat noobish admin and then have him get mad at me when i ask him to stay off the choppers.

summary , its an okay server, hell i actually think its a bit better than mediocre, just don't piss off the admins that are still in puberty or whatever it is that makes them aggro.
