Player models are modeled into the vehicle models, so the players don't actually "do" anything. Is that the lynx, BTW? Cuz when I fly, they'd never be able to sleep through my rollercoaster.
WTH? I'm ninjad by three people in less than a minute

Is it just the models that get warped, or did the players actually die? Because they look slightly see-through like when you die :/

ye, they are not dead, if they where we wouldn't consider releasing with it if the passengers die each time the chopper goes into a dive

In the lynx you have no weapon when your a passenger and in the future we plan to do that for all choppers.

yes, just to make sure you will not need to paint your *** blue and swim in the Thames as that would not be a pleasant sightDr2B Rudd wrote:^ Even for the guy at the Door!?
thou in all seriousness the main reason for it its that its the only way for the user to see the 1st person geom of the vehicle they are sitting in. Right now when your sitting in the back of the huey, your seeing the 3rd person model where it could be a hell of a lot more detailed as it dose have a 1p mesh for the passenger area, like the Lynx has.

^You have saved the sight of many a Londoner,
but I know its almost stupid to ask, but is it realistic for the guy at the door not to be ready to fire out the side if necessary? Or is thata gameplay aspect being put in to force transport choppers to have escorts or somthing?

Re: Project Reality - In the Army...
I edited in the real reason above, I dunno how realistic it is although on Black Hawk Down snipers offer to support ground troops from the black hawk
thou as we all know, even if we do add it in, no one is ever going to hit sh*t ingame from the door of a flying chopper
