[Vehicle] Mercedes Benz MB290 Softtop

It has been some time ago since we posted some new work of ours so we are proud to present you with the Mercedes Benz 290 Softtop.









The actual model is still WIP by [R-CON]Ice_killer and its allmost done and ready for UVmapping and texturing.

This will be our light jeep like the Landrover is for the Brittish Forces.

She will be armed with a Browning M2 .50 cal and a FN MAG 7.62, in future versions a HK GMG could be possible.

We are looking for someone to UVmap and texture it.

We are still looking for someone to finnish this model, as far as i know it needs some checking up, creation of LOD and it needs to be UVmapped.

To have something new beside the work for Operation Peacekeeper, I just started working on the Unwrap of the MB290.
I did some raw unwrap for some parts wich I will improve later on.



Before I can unwrap some parts, I will first have to spend some extra polys on them. For exaple the current steering wheel will look horrible in 1st person.

Beside unwrapping, I will also assign some smothinggroups to areas wich should be more round.

€dit: I don'T know what happened to the model, but it looks like I have to (re)do much aof the smoothinggroup stuff.

I remade the mercedesstar and the headlights but I am still not happy with the headlights. I guess I have to play around later this day, whithout all this coffeein and after some sleeping .
I still have to tune the cockpit, to fix smoothings and to continue with the unwrap.

the 1 P steering weel etc, did not do mutch about. and cant atm. if you have any qeustions ill try to answer them as good as possible
