I think when snipers operate with conventional forces they dont use ghilies.

I think it depends on the situation. But the sniper in PR "would"
definitely use it. He is alone or with a spotter only and takes out enemy officers etc. The environment is predestined for the guille suit. If he works only in urban environment and with a normal squad, he would probably not use it.

I think its crazy! Out of all the changes and possible: why did the DEV's do that situation the gilly suits is by far the most talked about lol!

I would have thought the kit request or something else.

Its interesting because the sniper won't change in anyway except for the looks.

looks awsome :-D cant wait but i reckon should have kept ghillie suit on some maps, maps with desert dont need but others would be good but hey cant all be a good thing :cry:

For me- the most unrealistyc thing...Now im going to shoot civies more often, its not realistic that INS have a civ Coolaborator with epipens runing around, reviving insurgents, because in conventional armies they have field hospitals and so when they take care of them, but i dont think that Insurgent without body armour could survive the bullets...

Hell yes, loads of epic stuff about to be released (Russian, Taliban, Infantry working with APC, new AK's...) and people are complaining about minor tweaks on spec-ops, snipers and pilots, the 3 noobiest kits ever in PR. :roll:
This just made me sad, you guys should thank the DEV and vote on mod DB instead.

I don't think it'll be the GAU-8s, I don't think they even touched that. But there is a Humvee avenger AA...

I like the removal of the pistol. It makes the downed pilots have to force themselves to hide and wait for extraction (much more realistic). And to be honest, I was getting sick and tired of those all-pilot squads.

If the spec-ops return I'd guess it will be as its own faction, since spec-ops isn't just one unit type they have all the other "kits" too.
Not necessarily, otherwise pilots and crewmen would be exiled too.

More realistic? In real life pilots are given a pistol.. There have even been talks to replace the pistol with a PDW, mp5 to be exact. Besides they still have to hide for the most part even with a pistol, as it is what it is, only a pistol.
