Seeding 0.856 - How do i do it?

Ok bit of a nublet question... i have 0.856, but i did not get it from the torrent.

How do i help seed if i did not download it from a torrent. I rarely use torrents, but my torrent client is Vuze (formally Azureus).

Put the install file in the folder your torrent client puts its downloaded files. Open the .85 torrent and it should start seeding. If it doesn't right click it in the torrent program and choose "check files" or "check files again" or something like that.

dunno.. this might work? try clicking on the torrent link, which should add the tracker to your torrent client, then when you select where to save it, direct it to the folder where you have .856

Good idea.

On uTorrent, yes, get the .torrent file installed - but stop the download. Select the [FILES] tab, and right click on the .exe, and select [RELOCATE]

Find the full file on your hard drive - then go back to the main torrent screen and select [FORCE RE-CHECK]. uTorrent will then check the file vs the MD5 hashes for each block (to ensure they pass), then select [START], and Voila! You are now seeding.
