Ideas for my one man PR street team!
I want ideas for an image that will be on the dvd's. im going to make little flyers. about PR. and i want suggestions for what i should throw on the dvds. so leave me a list here of
-Images you want to see on the dvds (i have light scribe) its going to say "Project Reality" on the front top and "www.realitymod.com" in smaller writing on the bottom. maybe ill put he PR dog tags on it? and remember there is a circle in the middle!
-ideas for what should be on the flyer (info about what this mod brings and maybe how to work in squads?)
-anything extra you'd want to see on the dvd.(PR wall papers, videos, clan info)
when im done throwing all this together, ill post the image used, the flyer info, and ill make the files available for DL so if anyone else wants to help promote PR all they have to do is throw that stuff together.
I love this mod.

Lightscribe is awesome.
I think the image should be a collage of PR's best unique features. At the minute, the flagship of PR seems to be the Little Bird, but when we've got more British Army media to showcase, that'll be a definite feature to show off.
Everything you mentioned already sounds good, but may I ask how the DVDs are going to be distributed?

hahaha! works for me!!! =D
well i live in a small area, so im going to drop by the cyber cafe with flyers and talk with people see if anyone is interested give anyone who has BF2 the dvds. im going to ask the people at EB if they would mind if they gave the flyers to people who play BF2 and if people were interested they could snag a dvd. I know most the people at EB so it shouldnt be too hard.
This is easy for me because I've had to promote my old band, and promote shows for my band and friends bands. I mean, its $10 for some dvds and like what... $1 for some flier copies. 2Slick4U is helping me out some, so I think in lets say... a week after the release of .3 we will have all this in a downloadable file so anyone can be a part of the PR street team.

Ya I was JUST about to say that Fullforce.
The mod should fit on a CD, so it'll be even cheaper.
I don't have anything to burn directly on the disk, but if I could print CD labels, I would give it a shot as well and hit up my local EB Games / cyber cafe nearby.
Fliers are always good though, because if they take one then they'll have to come to the website to get it, and they get to see a little more about the mod. If they just install the mod off the CD, they may not know enough about it to appreciate it.
We don't want people joining the community if they're going to be jerks about the way the mod operates. As it is, the mod is aimed at people who are focused on teamwork and having fun - not on 'pwning noobs'.
If we did flyers, it would be cheap, we could have more info on the flyers, sperad it to more people and have more people visit the website.
Ideally the CDs could be given in addition to a BF2 purchase as you had mentioned, but you could set up a stack of flyers right on the desk or whatever.
I love the idea though, really.

I beleive I have altered it sufficiently so that I cannot be legally proscecuted for copyright breach.'[R-PUB wrote:Fullforce']
On another note... How dare you steal my quote thingy! you shall be hearing from my lawyers.
@Ewok, no idea where you could find a leaked version. Hell, its so secret, I wouldn't know where to find it myself!
Any objections?trogdor1289 wrote:Hey fullforce now he's taken one of my posts to be his quote.
