The new animation and deviation system really puts it in the win! Feels much better in a CQB fight or medium range firefight. The burst mode is more managable. Really feels like the real thing. As a medic, i feel more useful in battle

I know the LMGs aren't new, but the new short animation is great. AK74U is probably the best new one.

Re: Favorite new weapons?
I don't know where to begin.
ALL of the M16/M4 varients are FANTASTIC. I will say, however, that I love the M68 varients the best. I LOVE them. On Kashan (Matrox knows all about this
) I was far away from my squad, so I cleared out 5/6ths of a squad out of the southernmost bunker singlehandedly. Later, I was again alone near South Bunkers, so Matrox suggested "Why don't you go cap south bunkers?" in a sarcastic manner. So, I go into South Bunker (from .809 and before) and I kill all six people of a squad. Both of these bunkers were cleared with the all mighty Rifleman Specialist kit. I LOVE the M4+M68.
I just finished playing with the new AK47, and that too deserves plenty of praise. The new model is a million times better than the old one. I have a small orgasm just looking down the sights.
The new shotgun animations and code are also fantastic. The lower deviation makes it useful in combat (YESSSSSSSS), and I love how you can pull the charging handle back and it reveals the shell inside. The insergent AK74 and AKS74u also deserves plenty of praise. Both are efficient in combat, especially the AK74. Even on full auto, you can engage accurately to 100 meters.
I was skeptical of the new G3 ironsights, but after using them today, I love them. A LOT.
Those are just the weapons I have used yet.

Field cannon for the win. Oh man, I forgot the name of the new Russia vs Chechnya map (has a swamp in it) but it was epic win against those tanks.

AK-74u is pretty amazing, but then again I've only really played the new Russian map. Too bad my computer decided to die on me
no PR for a good week.

Al-Quids! The mobility of an AK47 with the deployed and rapid fire capability of a LMG. HELLS YEAH. Gotta move? put it on single fire and cover bound, taking single shots. Get to a good overlook position? Deploy it on full auto and become an area denial force.
Everyone wants to easily kill their opponent but nobody wants to be the one easily killed. That line of thinking escalates weaponry to the point where practically every soldier has a shoulder-mounted nuke launcher that when fired, automatically displays the text "pwnt".- [R-CON]Wolfe

+1, the Al Quds are incredibly versatile weapons!Caboosehatesbabies wrote:Al-Quids! The mobility of an AK47 with the deployed and rapid fire capability of a LMG. HELLS YEAH. Also, gotta love the bayonets, kept Bayonetting people lately, it's so fun! PR 0.856 is the best release so far, and 80% pleased overall! AMAZING work with the helicopter handling, particularly the Huey, it's way less clunky than before, feels maybe too easy!

M-14 is BACK, BABY!!!! and the two zoom levels make it all the more potent.
2nd choice is the SVD, as for some reason everything which goes through its scope seems to drop very quickly. Was the bullet power increased or something?

Re: Favorite new weapons?

Edit: IMHO, it should be more like this
AKs-74U should start to lose damage earlier than AK-74 because of shorter barrel like in real life.
5.45x39 have less energy, so it should have less recoil and damage than a 5.56x45 bullet, also M16 have longer barrel than AK-74.

Re: Favorite new weapons?
It's has got to be the AK-74U (or the skorpion) because it reminds me much of STALKER, it's compact and it looks wicked (along with all the other weapons that have been added to PR)
Time to rise to the occasion.

Great,
I was looking for this kind of data.
Anyone know where we can find the settle times for each weapon, something like what Jaymz posted here a while ago ?
