RIP spec ops kit >.< . I guess I can use the engineer kit for behind the line operations to clear airfield while the marines are fighting on bridge, just like I can request the pilot kit for room clearing and CQB in 0.8.

Nice update and good job.
There are only 2 things I don't like about it.
The first being the removal of the pistol for the pilot kit. Besides being unrealistic it will just cause people to auto-suicide when they get shot down. As to the picture of an entire squad being pilots, why not make a squad kit limit of 2 pilots?
Secondly, the removal of Ghillie suits for snipers. It doesn't bother me too much, but it was an advantage when trying to hide.

why have actually been the kits on the weapon caches been changed back to the vbf2 kit geo ?

New geometries is what makes the Russian forces and the IDF and the [insert community faction here] look the way they should. What we could do was mix up various geometries and mix and match allowing us to make a completely new faction with relative ease.black-wolf wrote:But why are those new geometries different?

Did that answer your question enough? Im not exactly understanding it 100% myself, but just know that its a choice between having some great distinct new factions[russian, taliban, militia, etc] or not.
This is just a side effect.
Just keep your own factions weapon and you should be fine for the most part

Because the old ones were not a mix and match in the way that they are now... i dont know what else to explain to you so Ill just leave it at that.. the bottom line, we couldnt have the taliban and russian forces look the [pretty realistic] way they do now without suffering from this problem.black-wolf wrote:Well, Im just wondering why this side-effect happens now with the new geometries, and not with the old ones.

I reckon it's pretty realistic to see insurgents with the American helmet. I know if I was an insurgent I would pick up helmet + armour etc. Although the Shamag is sacred or something so maybe they don't...

Doesn't include the crew, only the asset itself.
