Bridge Repairs

Somewhere in that epic logistics thread is says that bridges will be repaired with a repair crate. I believe it was Rhino that said it. So, i felt like an idiot yesterday when i pulled up to a stuck tank and dropped my repair crate, only to find it not working.

The tank crew said they needed a combat engineer, but all the kits were requested and none of them wanted to go over to free the tank.

So i would appreciate some clarification on how to repair the bridges. As well as things like the big steel door in Mestia, i dropped a repair crate there too and nothing happened.

You can repair the briges with your shovel...

^ Are you sure? the little wooden or stone ones yes....but the big highway ones need repair crates

The bridge in question was the one leading to the land on the east side of Al Basrah. Big highway type bridge.

I thought the shovel for repair only worked on some maps? Like Korengal valley.

you know those little bridges on basrah by the village? those are also shovelable.

Well i saw briges being repaired by shovels, and gates on Koregnal, and btw i think you need to deploy the repair crate closer to the damaged part of the brige.

well the plan was to have the repair drop repair bridges but not 100% sure if that happened or not.

well I dont keep up with all the gameplay changes there might have been some problems with getting the repair drop to repair bridges and so the shovel was made there, you would have to ask Jaymz as he deals with that area I mainly work on asset development
