A trenchwar map idea

Post by LeoXiao »

Not sure if this is the appropriate place, but... I made a map idea!

obviously the map shouldn't look exactly like this or it would be boring. But I've just noticed that BF2 has never had anything like trenches.

What do you guys think?

dosnt fit into the modern warfare theme, it just wouldn't happen. modern warfare is all about maneuvering and mobility ect

Um...would you also like trench foot, chemical artillery, old school gas mask and big slow tanks?

This is modern warfare. Ever since WWII, it has been maneuver war fare. In essence, trench warfare would NOT fit PR.

According to your logic,

PR .9??

Ever come to a stale mate on EJOD at second to last MEC flag, just north of gardens? That's pretty close to what you want ;) A ~300 meter flat desert separating two easy-to-defend positions: The Gardens and Wall for the US, and the North village trenches for the MEC. Especially with the mounted MGs for the MEC, it creates a huge stalemate.
