molotov cocktail Needs fxing or changed.

The molotov cocktail is used in most INS Load outs and was given a nice new skin in 0.8 but the molotov cocktail, in its self is a hardcoded bugged weapon it spawn vbf2 fire for X amount of time going right throw brick walls and throw the inside of Hummer's instantly hurting the crew inside even if it missed and at 30 rpm you ran over it.

If you die by a molotov cocktail you are counted as a suicide because the engine thinks you died to bf2v fire like on dead cars that are still burning.

The molotov cocktail is now used as a Anti infy molotov cocktail the fire gos right throw the wall of a stone house and kills everyone this needs to stop or be limited

I suggest "forums locked for 0.85"

The molotov cocktail be given as a pick up kit with a AK-47 and a hook

People shouldn't be forced to be punished for dieing to an molotov cocktail when it was used and abused by a built in glitch that cant be helped but be exploited

APC and Tank crews are no longer affected by molotov flames in 0.85.

Really I died in the Striker that's a Apc no?

but iv had them stick to the apc and go with us not hurting us before so maybe its only if its on the ground and your on top of it.

No, it wasn't the molotov that killed you then. Something else methinks...

Well let's just say fire was thrown i died respawn ran a hummer out got in and drove her home fixed her killed 28 ins got hit by a rpg drove her home round ended (:> but i died in it but the Striker was fine they where throwing grenades and UGL shells at it trying to kill it as i drove the hummer there to pick it up ( :| Oh wait thinking thinking processing prepossessing data link engage link established this happen when i was down loading 0.85 Duh lol sorry

But Please reduce the fire area of a affect or limit the item using it to kill infy throw walls that dont burn like wood and counting as a suicide are my main issue with the kit

Wait.... what? Im sorry, I didnt understand a single word of that first paragraph... :)

What exactly happened with the stryker?

the striker got a dent and i got burned alive but if you Read it slowly i said it was when i was down loading 0.85 and playing 0.8 and said sorry

But on topic the molotov cocktail Still gos right throw walls and counts as a suicide I didn't stand in the fire committing suicide I was in a stone house and magic flames came throw the wall and killed me.

Simply the molotov cocktail is a bugged item from the start and im sure that you don't see 4 out of 8 ins Arrested IRL with molotov cocktail on them

I can CONFIRM that molotovs no longer kill tanks/apcs, me and alex has at least 3 thrown on us, I had flames all over the turret...was very cool :D

But I'd say a decrease in the radius of the molotov would easily help fix the problem of going through walls (when you thow it and hit the ground next to a wall it will glitch through)

Yea, make the fire a bit smaller, that should do.

Maybe increase the number of molotovs. Make the range lower however. That should be realistic - they're cheap, but not very effective. So large number, low radius should be fair enough.

Molotov can't destroy APC/Tank ? i mean it wont hurt the people inside but still hurt the vehicle itself or not?

Ignited petrol thrown in a Molotov will spray all across a wall and the surroundings...

NONONONO. don't fubar the molotovs. that wouldn't be nice. usmc shouldn't bunch up too much, it's easy. and one doesn't get killed THAT often by a molotov (ins shouldn't even come CLOSE to teh americanz...)

The molotov really needs to be nerfed. It's a bottle full of petrol not an incindiary bomb. The diameter should be reduced to 2-3 metres and when thrown at vehicles like humvees, should only kill the gunner (If that's not possible just keep it the way it is).

Back in WW2 they were used very effectivly against tanks.. But vehicles are better built now-a-days...
