EA has improved a bit.

Sure their still a power hungry company just like the rest, but now their not so totally evil they were in the old days.

It took the PR DEV team five years to get an answer? Not sure if to say Respect for the endurance or Congratulations ..or both?

Question: Is there any way that an EU fond could finance the PR DEV team? Have you guys had energy/time to investigate? Has any one from the DEV or the community any to the issue related political contacts in Brussels?
Define irony. A bunch of guys playing PR year after year. A game teaching initiative as the prime mover.
However, in regard to EA, these guys never took the initiative.

I don't know about the rest but this is kind of exciting i found this like a signal that PR is going to be M_O_Y, if more people join the community we have the chance to get more votes in the present "campaign" of Mod of the year and win the engine for our Devs, i know we can do it without the arrival/invasion of vBF2 players but every vote count xD

Lets see how this benefit the community...

good so they care a bit for mods.
now i want them to make patch with 128 people and fast ropes, and that make people much more happy.

Yes.. I the effect of this shows in the game.. Lots of new players that don't read the manual, oneman vehicles, TK for fun and just talk trash on chat. It's now huge bunny hopping nade fest in beatifull maps... No more tactical teamwork, or play like it's real attitude. It's like a dream gone horribly wrong.. With all the constant crashing and unbalanced gameplay I think 0.85 is the worst realease ever.. Sorry to say this.

Give the newbs time, and put the noobs in their place with your squad ripping them apart. You can't be a 1-man army in PR, unlike BF2, and they will have to learn that the hard way.

+1

In a month the ones that don't learn will be gone due to 'boredom' and those left will be more involved and educated. In the end it will be a larger pool of good players to draw from, we just have to weather the 'new guy' and 'immature idiot' storm. ;)

As long as the new players that try the mod come in with an open mind. They cannot simply jump right in and expect to understand anything. I can hear it now: "What are caches?", "Why can't I run faster/longer?", "Where are the crosshairs?", and "Why don't I have limitless nades?"

The PR community will have to accept these new players in stride and teach them how this great mod is played. It's all about the teamwork and coordination between squads. It's not about the super duper loner who just wants to rack up the kills. There are objectives and they cannot be met alone. If you are a PR veteran and start a squad, please ask if any of the squad members are new. Have them stay by your side at all times and teach them the ropes. I hope we are able to bring in some great team-oriented players and keep the community growing.

Did you guys vote yet?

Nice DEV's !!! You finally find a way to hack the vBF2 !!! :D
Good job Rhino ...

... but now, that's the players who have a lot of job showing the way it must be played ! I understand why we got so much trouble to get organised teams on servers last days ...

Quote from player : "How do I get the complete hud ?"
Answers : " Complete ?", "alt+f4 !", "RTFM !" ... :fryingpan

I loled and lol again at the "Invasion of the 'nilla-nubs!!" Romagnolo video !!!

0.856 IS A GREAT RELEASE ! THE GAMEPLAY IS QUITE PERFECT ! THANKS SO MUCH ...
