Look at 260 to 285 on your compass and take note of the sequence: 260 ... 255 ... W ... 285

Yea, I always thought that too, but If you look closely, the "6" in 260 is actually a 4, making it 240...255...W(270)...285, which makes sense. Just need to make the 6 more discernible from the 4.
