So I was browsing through YouTube, and I came over this video:

All these things looked ready to go for 0.85, but why were they not added?
And are there more things like this hidden in the PR files?
Atleast I'm hoping we'll see these things in 0.9

Top down attack missiles have a high failure rate (especially when launched from a moving vehicle) in my experience with BF2 modding.

Well, the apache has a green guncam, there's a BMP there, and he's on Kashan Training (You can see the name "Infantry Training" on the minimap at one point)

(btw, notice how the F-16 has 60 flares)

Javelin looks good, just improve a bit the textures and change the javelin hud
I Didn't understand the apache thing (maybe guided hydra?)
but F16 guided bomb looks nice but i think it would be hard too to guide when flying a plane

with the AA system that we have right now it would be very difficult to use the LGB.

first you have to fly below the cloud layer to be able to see the target, secondly you may have to take your hands off the controls (if you are using keyboard and mouse) and lastly you are flying so fast you may go into the redzone(unless you want to slow down which makes it much easier for the AA to get you). also, it may not be as accurate!!

still, i like such challenging situations
