Nope, you're right, I reread it and it does seem a bit confusing, so I changed it to what I meant, which is to say that there were 4 guys, CAS_117 (a DEV), Outlawz (an RCON), and Alex (a retired RCON) as well as someone else whom I couldn't remember, who incidentally happens to be you, platinum. Can I has a cookie now?

That Javelin was made by SatNav ages ago for the BF2SP community, its a free download used by many mods.

afaik the reason they havent added it yet is because the missle cant realistically lose its lock as It can IRL when the target gets behind cover or something. (talk to R-DEV Gaz)

also, I dunno if the javelin ingame can target anything (like it can irl) or just vehicles.

What you have to think about is the range, with 2km view kashan you can have helis at full 2km range, aa at 2.5, tanks at 1.5 and javelin for example at 1, then there is balance by range scaled in so things can be used realistically.

A javelin could easily be balanced.
If it would have one missile and the long lock-on time that it has in the videos it should be fine.
I also heard that it can have some trouble hitting moving targets so it wouldn't be a 100% kill weapon.
