My only gripes with the sniper rifles right now is the lack of power at large ranges, especially with the MEC rifle, and the fact that at long ranges, the sighting deviation is still quite a pain.

I'd take 12 seconds wasd/reload/shot settle time with no sighting deviation or even just an indicator of the deviation over the current system anyday. I've had so many misses from just moving the reticule a couple of pixels that I never fire without sighting at one pixel for the whole breath-sound time, even in 085.

That said, it's very rewarding doing recon, sniping and lazing now. Great to have the GTLD, and all in all it seems like lazing has gone up a lot now!

I wish that the sniper could have the grappling hook. This would allow the sniper to get to more places that would allow him to be a little bit more "random" in location. For some maps, there is a set limit of "good" sniping places, and most people know instantly where to look.

Granted, the Rifleman Specialist kit now has a hook, but it's pretty difficult to make someone join your sniper squad just to be your little grappling hook b**ch. It was OK when the Spec Ops kit was around, since it had the GTLD, grappling hook, and the M4, making it the perfect spotter kit.

Your english is very easy to understand, much easier than a lot of native speakers here :P
Welcome to the forums

I thought "much more accurate now" meant more realistic, don´t?

Any way, thanks for this amazing game.

I said I wouldnt discuss it :P But one last thing to clarify

Of course we feel they are much more realistic, but no matter how realistic we make the weapons, they will never be 100% true to life, or even really all that close. Not to mention combat stress and all that that we cant properly put into game, the fear of death, etc. Sure yo feel it sometimes, but in the end, you know its a game and therefore act accordingly.

But like I said, nothing in PR is ever really set in stone, its still shortly after a release, so just give it time and hen work on .9 comes around, things like this will be looked at and evaluated. ;)

Hes saying that in previous versions, a headshot KILLED instead of critically wounded.

In .85 a headshot does not kill. And so they can just be revived. In previous versions this wasnt so.

So what he says does make sense ;)
Oh yah, can headshots kill again ? Idk who said that medics are pretty much useless if headshots kill, I only know that many a time medics happily ingore it if you call out for medic, probably with a, bet yah he aint gonna ask me again to go medic mentality.
