Re: vanilla blackhawk
it was in the beta version of BF2... never was in the final released version, it wouldn't be hard to make tbh but its not very realistic.

Not realistic? Their design perhaps but haven't you ever heard of the Battlehawk?

The Battlehawk is in NAW and AIX iirc (I know NAW for sure). By realistic, I think they only mean by how common it is on the battlefield.

That's an Australian version; contender for their scout helicopter trials, IIRC.Solid Knight wrote:Not realistic? Their design perhaps but haven't you ever heard of the Battlehawk?
Only 160th SOAR uses Blackhawks as gunships in US service, and has them designated as MH-60L Direct Action Penetrators (DAP; in some sources the A stands for "assault"), and it's not used as both a gunship and transport at the same time. Navy Seahawks and Knighthawks can carry Hellfires and other weapons, but once again, they cannot be a transport and gunship at the same time due to weight limitations.
So, once again, not very realistic. Want to carry a squad and take out tanks at the same time? Get a Hind.

I can't seem to get a lolcat in here...
But I mean, what use is it, when you could have an apache?

If you're talking about Oleg's Hind, it'd be unplayable in pr. It's beautiful, and one of the sexiest models out there, but it's got way too many polys for pr to handle.
