its like a massive paintball club, you buy your gun, your clothes and your mask, you drive out to whereever your gonna play and you kick *** for a few hours before returning home. only on a computer where you dont have to move your *** anywhere. well thats my opinion, i know i generalised a lot, but you get the jist. :D

edit: for the record, i myself like to play seriously. i dont like when new players ruin the fun by expeimenting with the stuff the gamers are given to rely on to have a productive and fun match. but theres always going to be some players who dont care.
Lol i do both...PR came first, then my friend got me into paintball and now I'm part of a scenario team CSPO.

I haven't played since 0.8 cause my PC couldn't handle it, getting new vid card soon. Anywho before that point i took PR pretty seriously, i never really yelled or screamed at anybody but i do get pissed at people that are just being annoying pricks. i.e the idiot who grabs a HAT and pegs your tank because my squad got to it first...and the guy's not tank squad or anything just regular player on another squad. C4ing friendly chooper cause again we got to it first. i tend to ***** and moan a little at those players but i tend to keep it to a minimum. I took this game seriously because i don't like the standard run and gun shooter, i liked the team coordination, i liked the ability to manage real players in real time man for man in a somewhat realistic environment. I played PR because of the conformity and the community of people who were willing to play in an organized manner. If some idiot (who's not a noob) wants to play run and gun duke nukem solo ramboing, go play some other game or mod.

well, i do agree that some people take it too seriously, for some reason insults start flying around sometimes over nothing. the thing is, if you flip a truck, it not only deprives the troops of supplies, it also costs us tickets. I can see how taht is annoying to people, but kicking you from the server is stupid
