Simple Wanted List

Just a simple list of things that could probably benefit gameplay a bit more.

1. Jeeps be Removed from The Oasis (This map is annoying sometimes because players tend to just run everyone over here)

2. Crouch Toggle (Could very useful, since crouching plays a key factor in this game)

3. Walk key and/or Toggle (without having to aim down the sights)

4. Removal of Ghuille Suit (IMO unrealistic, since most of the maps are similating a large scale battle. Snipers from what I know use ghuille suit in recon and special operations, not to mention they do more harm than good in this game, since BF2 can't render grass over distances that well, and having a ghuille suit on a rooftop looks odd)

5. Removal & Replacement of Spec Ops class on maps fought by conventional units (Replaced with whichever the devs and community so shoose)

6. Altered Soldier Spawn Placements (Being a victim of spawnraping in PR sucks hard, I think having players spawn in more concealed locations or around 25 to 50 meters away from the flag would be best)

7. Altered & New Stationary Weapons Placements (As it is, alot of times theres always a tree, wall, smoe sandbags or something blocking a crucial view on the stationary AT weapons. Machine guns also should be placed in better places such as choke points, in window etc.)

8. Enhanced sound quality (Playing some OPK, I was impressed by the overall sound of the game, you can actually here comeone creeping up behind you quite well. In vanilla BF2 and PR, you only hear someone else footsteps once there like 2 meters away from you. I don't know if I can fully explain it, compare the difference between PR and OPK to see for yourself).

Thats about all I think of at any rate. What do you guys think?

Might have been better to wait till after the imminenet .3 release to post this as the DEVs will not change anything like this before .3 is released.....and the issues MAY have been resolved in .3

Well the thing is, I made this topic after checking the changelog. I didn't see any altercations relevant toward the above suggestions. Which is why I created this topic. Some of these suggestions have made appearences in other threads, but I think they can be a bit more crucial to gameplay. Some like the Enhanced Sound Quality may take some time, but I'm sure things such as removing jeeps on the Oasis would not take too much time.

Play .3 and if issues still exist post again by all means but some smaller changes may not be detailed in change log and you may have missed something :wink:

I swear theres been big changes made that the devs haven;t even told us testers about in the latest builds.
