Getting the Most out of the current maps.

this has been on my mind for some time now. so i thought that i would through this out at the dev's and community.
Is it possible to use all the current maps that are purely insergent, to be made army vs army? and have the choice to run maps like falugia (sorry about the spelling) as USmc or the like vs MEC? this would all of a sudden increase server side map list by add five extra modes and bring varity to more servers. some of these insergent maps would be on par or better for urban combined arms combat with muttra.

just a thought.

i have to agree, there are numerous variantions possible that could create a different feeling in well known maps (e.g conquest MEC versions of insurgent maps, a russia vs UK version of fools road with tanks . .

You'd have to clone the map for that.

would it be that much work? i admit that i have little knowlege as to map making or the like. my idea stems from the theroy that all the actual mapping is done, and me assuming that alot of the hard work has already been finished..... i could be wrong though.

the teams are defined in the init.con file which is the main file the the entier map loads off, doubt you could transfer that to the gpo.con file, might be possible but most likely would screw up and make the game CTD.
