Scout kit
I think squads need that kit
Because it helps to scan area before sqaud move on
Features - low armor , bad weapon , no grenades , 2 health pack , 2-3x stamina , can be one per squad and only in full squad

Re: Scout kit
i guess a scout kit will be good,
but no Bad weopow, just a Iron signs stadart Assault rifle, at last in Regular armys.
a Exelent binocular, just has the Sniper and Oficer, 3 stamina, no grenades or Smoke granades, Tripflare. and 3 field dressings will be nice

Down there you see the Main Brasilian Armor.

Re: Scout kit
Why the hell would i want to use this **** gear to scout when I could just use a normal rifleman kit which has full body armour, nades, ammo, smoke, a dressing and my choice of iron site or scope?
If i'm scouting i tend not to move about like a blue-arsed fly so the extra stamina won't be much use, and 2 dressing usually doesn't stop bleeding completely, so i'd stil need to fall back to my medic. the extra time is a small bonus.

Re: Scout kit
I rather have this one than the Rifleman Specialist, that don't exist IRL. Now that SF kit is gone, we could use some fun instead of shotguns.Jay wrote:Er... Does anything like this actually exist in any army?

Re: Scout kit
You don't need a kit labelled SF, scout, demolitions etc to perform those roles. You can still do all the things the old SF could do, although you may need a couple of kits in combination, which isn't a bad thing imho.

Re: Scout kit
IMO the best recon squad is either: Sniper, Rifleman specialist
OR
Squad leader, Sniper, Rifleman specialist
The sniper has the GTLD and a long-range Rifle (more important are the optics on said rifle), the specialist has a grapnel to get into good lay-up positions and can cover the snipers back, the squad leader is just so on bigger maps you can set a rally point.
Another alternative is SL, RS and a medic.
I don't think we need a scout class (or a spotter for that matter) the potential for these role is already there with the kits we have, you just have to think how to tackle a problem.
