Believe it was an ability integrated into BFV and I loved it so much. Obviously the torque of the helicopter would have to be relative to the weight of the object it is lifting. For instance no blackhawks lifting tanks 100 feet in the air. With the advanced physics in BF2 it could be alot of fun just plowing the **** out of people with a 1 ton block of metal suspended on a string. Would also be useful for troop movements of course and would allow for many interesting styles of gameplay. I can model in the winch system to whatever helis you need.

It's sounds really sweet... I liked BFV two, but you'll need a chinook or a nother big Chopper..Tracekill wrote:Believe it was an ability integrated into BFV and I loved it so much. The current humvee is armoured. The fact is, at the moment an APC takes one AT to be destroyed, an armoured humvee would too, just like the current humvees. Please, stop requesting one.
A chinook would be awesome (refer to my posts about the third class of helicopters). I suggested having a feature to allow humvees to be loaded into the back of choppers, but suspended sounds good too. If the 1.3 patch is any good, the devs can probably come up with a way of coding parachutes into all vehicles, so they could be released from a height.

Maybe, but then that would ruin the fun of crushing unsuspecting noobs with Humvees from a hundred feet in the air! And yeah I love the idea of being able to just drive a vehicle into the back of a chopper and take off the only problem would be with the physics system and it might spazz out when putting a vehicle in a vehicle like when you rub cars together in BF2.

Yeah, if a way couldn't be thought up to get around that (such as the Humvee going into it and then transforming into part of the model) it'll have to be a respawning part of the model that is animated to fall out the back and become a seperate entity. It's a complex thing to implement, but it'd be worth it if it could be done.

Do you mean Sea King? The UK does not use the CH-46 Sea Knight. They do use the CH-47 Chinook, howeverTracekill wrote:Yeah working on a model for a Chinook and a Sea Knight for the brits.
HMMWVs cannot be internally carried by the Chinook or the Super Stallion, they are too wide. It's one of the reasons why the 75th Ranger Regiment acquired several Land Rover Special Operations Vehicles in the early 1990s, the other reason being that it could be carried inside a C-141 and still be able to parachute men out both side doors. Other types of light vehicles can be internally carried by certain helicopters, though.Malik wrote:A chinook would be awesome (refer to my posts about the third class of helicopters).
