Fix specialty kit: Engineer
I think that the Engineer kit should be a little more well thaught out. Include a short range Scope and 1 Self detonating or Automatic Claymore, ( Meaning your Detonate it your self or it acts like a granade trap. ( Vanilla BF2 claymore function)
Just some ideas to make that kit a little more effective

It has the rifle mainly for self defence, hence no scope. "automatic" detonating claymores tend to get teamkilly (lol) and spammy.

Re: Fix specialty kit: Engineer
Scope: No
Would unfortunately promote more "lone-wolfing" with the kit
Claymore (self-detonated): Possibly
Could be good, but again it's not the kits role to be an infantry deterrent. And again, it may also promote more "lone-wolfing".

its not for killing enemies..its for mine removal..like removing the mines infront of your main on fallujah...that's where i find the kit most usefulRedamare wrote:I think that the Engineer kit should be a little more well thaught out. Give it more explosives. The Combat Engineer was made a limited kit due to the power of his explosives, but it doesn't have enough explosives to justify how limited it is. More C4 or more SLAMS.crazyasian11 wrote:The kit is fine as it is.

The day self detonated vbf2 claymores are brought into PR is the day that common sense leaves the earth.

awww... wonder if anyone knew but the claymore is very very rarely used like the model in vanilla, its usually detonated by a trip wire or a detonator.

I'm pretty sure that I read somewhere that self-detonating claymores are not allowed anymore (in real life)

You're required by the ROE to use clackers. Trip explosives are illegal.rampo93(FIN) wrote:awww... wonder if anyone knew but the claymore is very very rarely used like the model in vanilla, its usually detonated by a trip wire or a detonator.
Cus, you know, Science forbid you ever actually fight war.
