Medic and Revive

Post by gopedman »

So how does reviving work? I have been watching some videos, do you do the CPR thing once and then hit them with the tube of adrenalin or what ever it is?

Sunshine, aren't you the guy they banned, or are trying to ban from most of the popular servers?

The most reliable revive is to CPR the casualty, then use epipen.

CPR is not always necessary, but the limited ammo of ur epipen recommends the reliable form of the revive procedure ingame.

CPR is to unstick bodies, this is a vBF2 bug where if the body gets stuck it cannot be revived. CPR fixes this.

You don't have to do the CPR at all unless they are stuck in a wall or something, and the Epipen doesn't work.

All you have to do is hit them with the Epipen and wait until the animation finishes (cause that's when the revive is).

He is. And he registered for the second time now after being banned from this website.

But to be sure its always better to do the CPR. Saves a lot of time. I always do it to get my casualty's out there fast. In my experience as a medic (if im not SL im medic) it happens a lot more that they get stuck than not. Usually when Im down it takes people a while to get me.

Wastes 2 epi's, than goes for CPR and gets me. THats 3 eppi's on one guy while you might as well just used the CPR to start with and got away with 1 eppi.

I've found them getting stuck in the ground has gotten more frequent with this version. So much so that I've reverted to the old trick of always throwing a field dressing on the body first. Which is a more reliable way to get them unstuck than CPR and shortens the heal time as a bonus.

aka Mr.Reality was a temporary member of iGi and was removed for TKing, and eventually the puid was shared amongst other servers for prolific TKing etc.

On topic, I find also that CPR is needed more for this version. No idea why.

But game wise the engine doesnt descriminate between CPR and field dressing afaik, so u are wasting ur time there.

yep :) I think so 2. CPR does the trick for me just like dressings. No reason not to use CPR.
