FS Launcher for PR possible?

Hello Girls
is it possible to make an PR launcher like the First Strike (mod for bf2142) launcher, with auto updating?
BF2142 is almost the same like BF2 so it should be working right?

would offcause be possible, the quesiton is how usefull it would be, it might be a good idea for contend mods, but with the amount of coding in PR i see no use for such a small step release moddel that FS now uses, and otherwise the updater would be senceless
