i just looked through the files with the sound and i'm just wondering about it now. i came across the drown_1 wav and wondering why it's in there when it's never used (or it could be when u bleed to death while in water. idk because i never bleed to death in water) i'd like to know what that's used for when there's no use.
sry if in wrong place

In early versions of .8 you could drown if you were in the water too long but if you got in a boat you drowned too. So thats why its not in.

mm that explains alot if u still drowned in a boat and ya, i always hated that you would drown in BF1942 after a little, but most people couldn't swim with their gear in WWII. as for the civilian... i never had anything happen to me when i was in water and swimming. All comments appreciated.

I know that in .8 if you were a civi and tried to swim you drowned. I don't know if its still in effect for .85

Yep, I was on Al Basrah today, wanted to avoid being run over by a Scimitar (If this isn't evidence of Insugency needing overhauled, I don't know what is.), and started taking damage almost immediately. Didn't drown, but I assume that's what the next step was.Incomplete Spork wrote:I know that in .8 if you were a civi and tried to swim you drowned. I don't know if its still in effect for .85
