nose cam attack chopper gunner
why did u take away the nose cam for the chopper gunner?, now all the gunner sees is the dash board when he tries to look at the ground.... not very realistic if u ask me,
it would be ok if the dashboard screen really worked, but it doesnt..... are u guys gonna patch a fix for the nose cam or do u like not seeing what u are shooting at?

I´m wondering the same thing. I can understand why you removed the exterior view from ground vehicles but a AH gunner has quite an array of sensors/optics/cameras to aid him. It quite annoying to watch the cockpits controls when you should have optics with zoom and FLIR.
Is it in "Things to fix"? Balance issue?

PLeas tell me truefully: in real life is the cannon on the nose of attact helis controlled through a TV camara. I must be, i thought becuase i dont think they have invented 180 degree, constantly updating, presice veirtuall crosshairs.
Also, would it be possible to have some form of thermal camara in the game, equipted to attact helis ext. Ro would that be to complciated?
Alos is there a chance of having a colour/ balck and white high zoom camara on the heli, similar to the hight magnificaiton onses in real life ( 70 times in some cases)? thanks

The reason is becuase they would be usless. No one fires nukes in such small conflicts these days!!!!!! And alot do not eveh hoave tomerhawk missiles so would be unable to engage landtargets.
Waht i said was in no extrmeme!!! Any idea can be balanced, if no one suggested ideas becuase they feared thgey would jsut be ignored cos they changed the balance slighty, PR would suck.
Open your mind alittle, dont jsut say NO and some sarcastic comment please.

and if the devs can re-fix that, is it possible to remember the nosecam, when the gunner switched to TV-missle and back?

Heres what i think should be done.

If you look above the mini gun on the very front of the nose, you will see a rotating camara. Now the best thing to do is use some sort of TV screen, like for the TV missles or what ever it uses, and then let the gunner see though this screen by defult. then when he moves the mouse to aim the camara will follow the mini gun.

Anyone played USI at all? I liked the way they handled the gunners there. Seems to me to be the best solution.
Actually, best would be if the gunner could toggle in and out of the locked camera view, but only fire when in the camera view. That way they could have the added advantage of looking around and spotting enemies.
