Nice work Psyko... It is so true, everything seems to turn out so much better if you map, just to map, not focused on the assets or the gameplay till later... Keep up the good work man

T-Split which is a sub program of T-Paint is what you need, desertfox did a small tut somewhere on how to use it to split a image up into colour maps that the editor can read. Info of tsplit is at the bottom of that page, basically you just need a 2048x2048 image, (flipped vertically so its upside down, so its the correct way up ingame) and then you run tsplit on it and it will split it the image into lots of colourmaps.

It's not Iran fighting anyone as far as I can tell guys, it's just Khash is a place in Iran. Unless Iranians come into PR, I would think it would be MEC vs someone else.

No decisions have been made on factions. i am still considering. but my attention is on making the map and layout. and not on the factions. all will be revealed in time.

Agreed psyko, the factions is not particularly important.

Make a kickass map with lots of realism and detail, and the factions/assets can be added at the end.

This should be a replacement for EJOD! Make it US Army v.s MEC, and put a couple of tanks and APC's on each side! :D

I got a lot of stuff to do on it. and i dont like empty spaces, particularly ones that dont make sence or have no point in being there. so i'll let you know when i get to a decent stage in it's development. right now, its just some pics of dence areas. but im working on the surrounding country side of the town, like an industrail area and surrounding village and shanty towns and stuff.
