Realism Upgrade

Post by maxudaskin »

As some of you should know, when flying in a jet, there is no system that can differentiate between friend and foe except by their squawk code. I say, you should make it so that it won't be able to tell for 5-10 seconds after contact.

My goodness. And there's me thinking that the US do have such a system. Crazy.

I am not sure what you mean.

You could make all the lock boxes the same as the enemy ones, so they look like the same targets, you just won´t lock on but you would have to identify for cannon etc if thats what you mean.

Isn't there an IFF system on planes?

The Soviets may have only gotten as far as East Germany, but they took the rest of the continent without firing a single shot.
