Helicopter Loses Power After 20 minutes of flight

The other day, I was playing Muttrah City, I was flying a Huey, transporting Infantry for about 20 minutes, I took off from what would be my last drop off, and lost all power at about 83% torque(I had my throttle at 100%). I was not shot down, because my chopper landed unharmed between two buildings, me and the guy who had flown with me got out of the chopper as there was an APC coming, so we couldn't try to take off again. The APC killed us. Anyone know what happened? Anyone else have this happen?

i had the same problem. i got a huey and after landing after a long time it was very difficult to take off again ...

This bug seems to be limited to transport Hueys that have flown for a long time. Hmmmmm

Nah, just had this happen today. I was up for a long time, and hadn't taken a single shot. It happened on TCC server playing Op Baracuda. I was hovering off the carrier waiting for orders, and I suddenly drop like a rock.

I use a Saitek Evo Force if that helps, and my throttle remained at ~25 %, until I started descending, in which case I pushed it up to 100 % almost instantaneously, and I saw the bar rise, put it didn't help.

Sad, my only death (the other intentional TK didn't count)

if a choper gets hert so much it WILL go down this is not a bug this is a simple thing that pr mod does when a choper gets hert to much SIMPLES

Yeah, the warp drive was damaged.

But yeah, this happed to me just AFTER takeoff with the Huey on Archer, then my squad started bitching as usual.

And it think it's also happened to the LB on Karbala, I was flying on the Backwater server, when a lag spike struck, and I regained control, but my power meter was zero. I JABBED W, but to no avail.

Yup, it was extremely odd. We were completely repaired, if we HAD taken damage from small arms fire before hand, it would've been gone. It's only happened to me that one time, but it felt reeeaaally wierd. As if someone had suddenly taken control of the chopper and pushed the throttle to descend. Though I at least have some witnesses. I wonder what your reaction must've been

I'd answer this, but I really can't understand any of it

Of course, if you are saying I got hit by AA, I've previously stated that no, I didn't. I always took a safe way, and I never once got locked by AA, nor shot at by .50 cals, and I don't recall being hit ever by small arms, though that might have happened.

Regardless of that, I had completely repaired at the main base often, and before the incident in question, I had loitered around for quite awhile before the bug in question. I have witnesses who can confirm that I wasn't engaged (at least not knowingly), and that I had been in perfect condition prior. So... I'm really not sure where you're going.
