Allow Automatic Rifleman kit to be grabbed at rally.

Hey guys,

I love the new system of only requesting weapons at a crate or apc because it adds a new layer of teamwork to the game (you need a logistics squad).

However, I think the AR kit should be requestable at your rally. The AR is a standard part of any infantry fireteam, so it makes sense that it should always be available to that squad member designated as the AR. By allowing only that kit (AR) to be requested at the rallies, I think it would enhance the gameplay and improve the squads ability to use covering fire.

Me likey, maybe put the SQ limitations into the spawn menu for it so we dont ahve to add some coding for it

Just put it in the spawn menu, like previously discussed. Its a part of every major inf squad anyway, make it a spawnable kit, with limitations like FH2.

Yeah, I like that idea. There is normally a SAW is every squad. Maybe there should be two kit types of it? A requestable one and a spawnable one. The requesting one being a little better...

Problem with making it spawnable, even if you kill the saw its back after 30 sec, or so. Requestable at rally should be no probs and I think its easier.

as long as each squad could only get one i think having it on the spawn menu is a step in the right direction.

Recently I've used the auto-rifle more and more, and while this would make my life a lot easier it would make the whole logistics idea pointless, when squads don't rely on resupply/APCs.

Basically make it spawnable?
Even medic are being made request kit, wouldn't count on it.

Spawn whit the Minimi, request the M240B ? Spawn whit the minimi, request scoped minimi ?

Like Russian would had, RPK + PKM ? NATO, Minimi + M240B ? kinda like a heavier class ?

I vote yes only if they are REALY restricted. M249 is way lighter than a M240, same for russian version, so, the guyz who carry them should have way lower stamina than the one whit M249. But M240 is way much more precise and had a HEAVY punch.

But once again we face problem, MEC AR is already a 7.62mm... damn.

cant the game prevent you spawning with a limited kit if u just lost one?

I seem to remember it can stop u spawning if there is already a limited kit in the squad, so I think it can.

The kit should be in widespread use all the time, being able to request it from the rally is just a pain in the arse when you can just spawn with it given how common it is, the FH2 system would make alot more sense, but have it coded to it's limited to the number in the squad not team like in FH2. ARs still don't play that bigger part in combat and this would help alot.

Point is it should not be THAT common. It should still be limited to 6, so that you do not get a volley of rounds in your direction for a while if the Marksman did his job right.

Limited to one per squad and with a longer respawn timer might work. Not as long as collaborator of course but add an extra 10-20 seconds onto the respawn time makes it more important to use it correctly.

I still think that we could actually go without the combat engineer and instead have a 3 team max 'heavy automatic rifleman' that has something like the M240G.
