Training Mod

Hey every one i just want to tell you that i have allready posted this on the PRSP Suggestions but i want to post it here too becouse people check it more often :)
Project Reality Training Mod
My idea is abit advanced since the Single Player options are small.

But in future you could make a traning mod.

You have to have an internet connection for this but you play against bots let me explain.

Lets make an example. The R-DEVs make a new map only for traning ...

You are the US ARMY, and you spawn at the airport. You go in a Plane. Then you get a mission. Example :

(" "Your Username" we have got information about an enemy Tank in the following coordinates D7 keypad 5. Our infantry cannot move in untill it has been taken out. Your mission is to take out the Tank and secure the road for any more possible armours" )

You get an attack marker where it is and when you have killed the tank, you get a new message

(" Well done "Your Username" Our infantry has secured the location, now land safely at the airstrip to reload for your next mission")

Now this was a jet example it could be any thing from infantry to tanks

Now this is where the Internet connection comes in ;)

When you have completed 15 missions your account gets an award example

(Basic Helicopter Pilot) Required to fly in a online server
(Basic Sniper) Required to request a sniper kit on a online server
(Basic Plane Pilot) Required to fly a plane on a online server
(Basic Tank ) Required to drive or gun in a tank
The list goes on and on ..
THE BASIC AWARDS WILL BE VERY SIMPLE AND EASY

This will make sure that when people try to fly a helicopter with 8 guys in it that they know how to take off and land



I know its verry advanced ;D but its my idea and maybe in future you can do so

There is already a training function in the game, every new player can use it to learn the basic elements of the game.
Online kit qualification missions have been suggested alot of times and has been found to be impossible.

You cannot code the game to only let you fly/tank/drive/ect with these awards.

The awards things is old news yeah, but a training mode with a little direction would be nice if it's possible, something in the same vein as the training you get on America's Army would be cool if remotely codable.

using PRSP to train is far more effective than using the current training mode.

if maps could be coded in a way to spawn targets with their locations marked for you like caches, that would be great for training air to ground etc.

I very very very much like this idea of earning qualifications. Would eliminate the idiot problem overnight :D

I really like the idea of a training session tailored to what you want to train with. PRSP is fun, and a great tool to get to know the game. But as far as specialized training goes its a pain in the ***. Either the bots are too dumb to provide the team work needed, or they'll have already taken a vehicle and crashed it before you get a chance.

Also the ability to train with a weapon such as the marksman rifle would be extremely helpful. Just throw some bots down range with nothing but rocks and have them running back and forth. Same with AT, sniper, 203, etc. There are so many different weapons in this mod, that i bet a tool like this would be used by some of the better players as well.

If AI would be so scriptabla and codable, I think we would allready have SP missions.

I think given that Insurgency can be coded with certain objectives to blow up and the whole intel system and stuff, then perhaps it can be coded to turn those objectives into blowing up AI AA in jets and such, would probably be quite complicated but maybe it's possible.

One thing I imagine might have to happen is each training mission would have to be coded as it's own game mode due to every mission having different objectives and such.

I don't like the whole awards idea. I think that you should need less missions to earn it. Otherwise, a casual gamer won't get much action. Of course, there should be that training time, otherwise you have a bunch of retards.

I was drooling all over myself until I read that it was hardcoded. Could we get some fastro... nevermind.
