Commander issue.

Yesterday I played PR almost the whole day and of all maybe 10 maps I played there was only 2 Commanders..
I think whats missing is somekind of motivation. So in this thread could we please discuss how to make more people applying to the commander.

My suggestion is that we should insert a Command Stryker where the Commander and his crew are commanding from while being on the battlefield. Just like the current function when a commander needs to be in that little house(Forgot the name) we could do that but from a special stryker. I think this will motivate people to be commanders since they can observe from the real battlefield and be a part of the action, would add alot more fun to it to. This was just a quick Idéa I had on my mind yesterday.

The problem is unless it is an asset map there is not that much to do. On dynamic maps like Kashan the concept of keeping the co locked at main is aright, he will hardly have time to put down his command screen anyway, however on maps like tad sae where struggles over flags can last a lentghy time, he should be replaced by a lietnant who can exit the co post and access the command screen in the field.

That "Command Stryker" sounds pretty neato. Like have the driver and gunner as usual, but a special place in the back with the command view and a periscope view perhaps? Although there would be a need to keep the old command building in case you lose that asset..

Yup I agree. If im not wrong the command Stryker is already in action?? So it wouldnt be a bit unrealistic.

The commander needs a tool at main, rather than a vehicle moving around imo because he can't effectively communicate to soldiers around him without mumble/TS it means he's a liability to his team when he's in a contact.

Thus, a uav station or mortar, or something would be useful

hell, even giving him sole control of the log trucks would be something, but again he can't talk to his soldiers
